Business, Human Rights and Technology (B-Tech) project. In these capacities, she supports efforts to develop an
ambitious vision and roadmap for implementing the UNGPs in the next decade and leads work on responsible investment in digital technologies.
In her capacity as Steering Committee member of
The AI Shared Prosperity Initiative, Paloma provides strategic guidance on developing resources for companies developing and deploying artificial intelligence. As Advisory Board member of
First Peoples Worldwide, she supports efforts to promote collaboration between Indigenous Peoples and investors to address the impacts of companies on indigenous communities in the United States.
Prior to joining the UN, Paloma was Director of the Investor Alliance for Human Rights and Senior Advisor at the Danish Institute for Human Rights.
She holds a Master of International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and a BA in political science also from Columbia University.
