About me
Jo has been with GBI since it was founded in 2009 and has a long history of working on the business and human rights agenda with companies, including as part of the Business Leaders Initiative on Human Rights (BLIHR).
Jo regularly represents GBI at international events and manages key relationships with GBI’s advisors, networks and partners around the world. With a background of work and study in law and politics, she has also pursued academic studies in human rights focused on mental health and remedy and holds an MA (Dist) in Theory and Practice of Human Rights through the Human Rights Centre in the School of Law, University of Essex.
In addition to mental health, she has an interest in conflict and post-conflict human rights responsibilities of corporations and, at a time when commercialisation of space is increasing, is researching synergies and tensions between emerging business and human rights regulation and international space law.
