Giulia is the Human Rights Researcher and Campaigner at BankTrack, the international tracking, campaigning and civil society support organisation targeting private sector commercial banks and the activities they finance. Over the past couple years, Giulia’s work has been focused on advancing respect for human rights in the banking sector, including by supporting communities affected by bank finance, and advocating for banks to fully implement their responsibilities as outlined in the UN Guiding Principles. Prior to this, Giulia worked with the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre closely monitoring European mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence developments, and interned at the International Code of Conduct Association.
