About me
Shubha Sekhar has more than two decades of international & cross-functional experience in Human Rights, Sustainability, Sustainable Business, Responsible sourcing, Corporate Social Responsibility, Law and Government, giving her a unique and practical understanding of different facets of Human Rights and Sustainability.
She is currently Regional Director Human & Workplace Rights responsible for implementation of Coca-Cola’s Human Rights and responsible sourcing policies across supply chains in the Indian Sub Continent, Middle East North Africa, Turkey, Central Asian Republics and the Caucasus regions.
Prior to joining the Human Rights team, Shubha has held senior level positions in the India and South West Asia Business Unit of Coca-Cola as Head CSR and Sustainability, and Director Sustainable Agriculture and New Ventures. In the former role, she had responsibility for shaping the vision and strategy, along with design and implementation of several CSR initiatives and cross sectoral partnerships, as also leading the relationship with NGOs, multi-lateral agencies, and other key external stakeholders on behalf of Coca-Cola. She also represented the Company in several industry forums in the areas of Sustainability. As Director Sustainable Agriculture, she was part of the Fruit Circular Economy team, a business vertical at the cusp of Business and Sustainability, with initiatives in the Horticulture ecosystem in India.
She is a Panellist/presenter at several seminars/workshops on Human Rights, Sustainability, and CSR in India and abroad.
She holds a Masters in Law (LLM) from India and is also a Solicitor England & Wales (presently non-practising).
