About me
Takoua Tayari is the Business and Human Rights National Analyst at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Tunisia. During the past four years, she has played a pivotal role in establishing Tunisia as a pioneer in promoting Business practices that respect human rights.
Beyond Tunisia, Takoua's contributions extend to the broader Arab world as she serves as a Business and Human Rights Technical Expert for UNDP's Regional Bureau for the Arab States on a Detail Assignment.
Currently pursuing a PhD in Business and Human Rights, with a focus on multinational enterprises in the MENA region, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her work. Additionally, her tenure as a previous university assistant in public and international law at Carthage University in Tunis has provided her with hands-on experience in educating and empowering others on the complexities of human rights. Her contributions to legal research studies on international humanitarian law and human rights further demonstrate her deep understanding of these interconnected fields.
Takoua is fluent in Arabic, French, English, and Spanish.
