Jerneja Turin is a Senior Advisor at the Human Rights Ombudsman of the Republic of Slovenia and Chair of the Working Group on the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) within the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI). Bringing together 39 National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) and CRPD monitoring bodies, along with 13 observer institutions, the ENNHRI CRPD Working Group serves as a central hub for expertise, knowledge exchange, and collaboration in European NHRIs’ efforts to promote and protect the rights of persons with disabilities.
