About me
With over two decades of experience in the technology sector, Khaled Shivji is a senior lawyer who works with governments, think-tanks, and business leaders to drive policy and complex transactions involving AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data protection diversity & inclusion and ESG.
Khaled’s portfolio includes advocating for improving access to justice by leveraging AI, and digital transformation at all levels of the legal sector, judiciaries, and ministries of justice within the middle east.
Khaled has spoken at conferences organised by the International Institute for Communications, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Rule of Law Programme Middle East and North Africa, the Bar Association of Kuwait, and he was a member of the DIFC Courts’ General Counsel Forum contributing thought leadership to the ‘Courts of the Future’ programme.
Khaled is a former senior attorney at Microsoft and has led legal teams and departments across the MENA and APAC regions serving DEWA, Aggreko and Expereo.
His academic accomplishments include a LL.M International Legal Practice, a LLB Law, and a B.Eng. Internet Engineering. Khaled is also a practising Solicitor (England & Wales).
He is based in Dubai with his family, and enjoys building communities, cycling, and progressing his passions for astrophysics, and AI.
